SPORTSMANSHIP: The ability of a person (1) to abide by the rules of a contest and the decisions of the officials who oversee that contest and (2) to conduct himself or herself in a manner which sincerely enhances the proper flow of the contest.

TEAMMATE: Any person on a team or coaching a team or keeping score or statistics or contributing in any way or conducting any related activity for a team

OPPONENT: Any person on an opposing team or coaching an opposing team or keeping score or statistics or contributing in any way or conducting any related activity for an opposing team

OFFICIAL: Umpire, referee, judge etc. who determines the proper interpretation of the rules as those rules pertain to a certain contest and to the actions of the competing individuals or the teams before, during and after said contest.
